Was Tiffany Stevens at Archangel a mag?
one of the best hotels I've ever tried, combines both the excellent service and the old size of past, I like and recommend and every time I'm in religious that will be my favourite place. View all feedback.
What Andrew Walsh dislikes about Archangel:
I would not bring children to this place anymore. The tables were dirty, the place felt a bit seedy and it really stank of stale booze. Totally gone down hill in terms of cleanliness and ambience. Please make more of an effort! View all feedback.
On the 8th mai had lunch here. the bark was so chewing! I've been so tortured and ran through my way, but my partner just couldn't manage it. it was left on the side of his teller and when the...assistant man came to collect our records that ignored the kuh he left everything he required? we informed him about the bad quality bark meat and he advised us that he would tell the cook, but he was still happy for us to pay £72 for two frying dinner a beer and a glass wein. this is a great place in pious, beautiful outside space and beautiful dining rooms on the front of the fabulous building, but these will never be busy unless they serve better quality eating. oh! it would also be good to listen to their customers, we spent here 2 weeks earlier £154, but we will not trust them with our hard earned money in future.
Sticky tables, my cutlery had to take off when we sat down. nice eating, but its expensive, very expensive drinks and long wait for eating. service fee automatically set in bill. ok eating out something didn't feel like we had a good value for money.
Problems, the booking so offered upgrade, but found the whole experience missing. no place to check-in was confusing. there was moist / water dropping down wall in bedroom staircase, no lock at bathroom door, not much room to hang clothes, no dressing, only a chair, in bathroom to open or close. insane. not a traditional tee. customer service lacks professionality for 4 stars. slowly forgotten waiter/server. no steak knives strange. eating was very expensive, but that is to be expected. we have lacked food service. very bubbly waiter but felt that he would listen more attentiveness to detail and know about menu. to casual in comparison to other 4 stars. it needs an enormous improvement. I sometimes forgot something. had to go to get bill was waiting too long. the server came into the coat to take breakfast orders, slowly to bring food, we had to go before they came to clarify. the room was very clean, but for the money we stayed better. upgrade was nice, but not yet on for the lack of detail and service we had on other 4 stars. would not be visited again unless improvements were made. we had not felt that we had looked around enough and were willing to go. you could not really find someone who really talked about it and felt like it didn't make any difference at all. I think more than a 2/3 star closer. we were just a small amount of diners so we could see why service so slow and poor we were not a warning. would have been better, a traditional tee to breakfast another couple that was agreed on our side. total mean.
The restaurant was just okay. I visited a few years ago and was impressed by the atmosphere, building, and food, but it seems to have changed since then. The menu is similar but the quality has decreased, with thicker, greasier batter and lower quality condiments. The food was average and the sharing portions were smaller than expected. The decor hasn't been updated much in the past 10 years and shows signs of neglect such as peeling wallpaper in the bathrooms. The bar area was untidy with young staff standing around with little to do, not attending to customers. While the front of the restaurant looked nice, it lacked the warmth and heart I remember from my previous visit. The staff were friendly enough, but overall, the experience was disappointing.
This quirky pub has very friendly staff and a nice garden area to sit in. The room was decent but could use some improvements, as it was a bit dusty and the shower dripped. There was also only one set of towels, which was inconvenient to discover late at night. The pub had a lively vibe and the food was alright, with some dishes being better than others. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, as the smashed avocado on sourdough with poached egg turned out to be a cold muffin with barely any avocado and hard eggs. The highlight of the pub was the helpful and accommodating staff, with a couple of members standing out for their great service.
