Beware of placing take out orders!! I called in a To-Go order. First off, they didn?t get my order right then I found out they don?t check who they give the order to. They sold my order and told me I could place another order. So I drove 15 minutes toget it and had to wait another 10-15 minutes to pick up a new order?! I should?ve just said no. A mistake I won?t make again. Anyways, I went in to pick my order up and stood there waiting on someone to acknowledge me, even though the workers handlingthe orders were right in front of me. Finally, someone acknowledged me and I received my order. To be straight up, a discounteven if a small one should?ve been offered. I paid gratuity for their screw up.
Always a good experience. Anytime we come here we are seated promptly receive excellent service. I have NEVER had a bad drink or dish from this place. The food is so good I always forget to take photos before I dive in lol! It will forever be on my listof ?go to? restaurants!
Our waitress was great but the food just wasn't good. The gumbo was the chunkiest gumbo I'd ever had and I couldn't eat it. The roux wasn't made or warmed properly. It had a tomato base, which I didn't mind but it just wasn't good. My friend had themushrooms and a po' boy sandwich. My friend was not a fan either. I feel bad leaving these types of reviews but I do hope thisis taken as constructive criticism. I know the restaurants are struggling these days, so I'm mindful of that.
I ordered the jumbo Caesar salad with grilled salmon. $20 for a salad and the salmon is pretty much non existent. I'm furious! When I say I will NEVER order from Half Shell again, I mean it. This was my first and last time time ordering from this place.Consumers are already getting ripped off with gas and grocery prices and now the restaurants have hopped on board. Absolutelyridiculous!
HORRIBLE!! If I could give no stars I would. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in life. Food was not done and cold. The manager JD was HORRIBLE and very argumentative. I would not recommend this location at all
