eating is wonderful and abundant in the guts. some items are somewhat expensive for what they get, for example the appetizer, from roasted pimmento cheese, is priced at 9.75 for 3 small pimento fritte. that means that a party of 4 does not receive, or 2 persons must share the half of one to accommodate the 4th person. our waitress was nice, but not a very good server, forget about a next order and need to remind her... I had a wonderful time at this fresh farm-to-table restaurant! The service, food, and inventive menu were all top-notch. Unfortunately, we couldn’t try their complete dinner entree menu because the Railgarten was hosting a special event next door, which limited the menu that evening. However, everything turned out great—so relaxing with excellent service, a casual menu, and reasonable prices. My favorite dishes included the Sausage Cheese plate as an appetizer, Chips and Queso, the Grilled Chicken sandwich, Banh Mi, and the Good Ole Burger. They also have a full bar available!
We ordered the pork chop and pan-seared catfish. We didn't even need to reach for the salt or pepper shakers, as the food was perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor!
I love this place! The staff was amazing, and even though it was a slow night and not very busy, it remains one of our favorite spots.
Our book club had lunch there and had a wonderful experience. Gillian was an amazing server whose timing was impeccable. She handled our large group (9) extremely well even with our separate checks. Most of us had vegetable plates and they were delicious. Highly recommend!
Excellent food. Extremely fast service. Great people.
