What Shemiko Porter doesn't like about Soul Fish Cafe:
I ordered the chef salad which consisted of ham, shredded chicken, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and croutons. I gave this rating because of its quality meaning for me it tasted Great but I couldn’t eat/enjoy the salad because I was getting poked in the top of the mouth with bones I’m assuming was from the shredded chicken. I made my server aware and was asked if I wanted a manager but he/she never came out View all feedback.
Went This past Wednesday around 3pm. First time back since before the pandemic. Food was really good. I had the vegetable plate. The service was good as well.
The front service women were not engaging with incoming guests, we had to asked if we were to seat ourselves... looked at us if why are you here
Best blackened catfish I ever had!!! Corn bread and dessert was great too. Highly recommended.
Classic Southern food. Everything taste how it suppose to from what I did eat. One order from my table was sent back twice and still was visibly burned. Management did take care of it. Service was decent no real problems. And the atmosphere was that of a diner. All in all it was good enough for me to eat there again!
I’m very picky about restaurants and rarely impressed/usually disappointed. The food here was excellent, fairly priced, and at our table with lightning-fast service. They even figured out how to make steamed broccoli taste fantastic. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town!
