What Faye FBP doesn't like about Red Hook Cajun Seafood:
Arrived at 8 left at 11:15. Took two hours to get our two appetizers. The server Lauren was nice but other people came in and ate and left with other servers and we sat there with water for over an hour. The service was terrible. Party of 7 so 18% gratuity automatically for horrible service. We were really disappointed. My nephew 5 started crying because we had waited so long and he had no food ….he was hungry. This... The service was honestly so amazing. Our server was Beatrice and let me say A ! She was such a vibe and made everything so comfortable with her personality. Her manager, Tabitha, also had the place running very smoothly. Not to mention the food was also a big plus. We will DEFINITELY be
Fast service, excellent lunch special, no head shrimp meal, and barely anyone there. Also has a fun nautical theme with a life size statute of either Johnny Depp or Captain Morgan, we aren't sure.Amazing calamari as well, and only $8 for the appetizer (15 rings)
Pretty good food. Not rude but definitely not professional. Still a good option for tasty seafood at a fair
Well, I try to give poor service in chain restaurants a few chances before giving a poor rating, but I have had poor service each time on multiple visits. Management seems unconcerned with keeping their seating and waiting staff in any way disciplined... As an example, I waited the entirety of my visit to have my drink refilled, and it took me walking out to my car to get a drink of a warm soda for my waitress to ask if I wanted a refill, and that question was asked as she was handing me the check. One of my fellow diners spilled their sweet tea all over the table and had to ask a different waitress to find our waitress to replace it, and she did absolutely nothing to remedy the wet table and seats situation, despite there being only perhaps 6 tables out of 40 being used with a full staff. I would have rated the service 1 star, but for the other waitress who was helpful and genuinely seemed to care about her clientele, though that was clearly from her own integrity and not through management. Great food and atmosphere, spoiled by subpar service and management.
