Kfc - Memphis
Kfc
Description
The KFC on Danny Thomas Boulevard presents a mixed experience for patrons. Several diners report disappointments, including receiving subpar, old food items, such as dry chicken tenders and uncontainerized biscuits. Service deficiencies were noted, with insufficient utensils and abrupt closure announcements adding to frustrations. However, there are glimmers of excellence, highlighted by a standout drive-thru employee who managed a complex order flawlessly, even amidst adverse weather. While the convenience and certain menu items may draw customers, inconsistent service and food quality leave much to be desired. Improvement is certainly needed to elevate this location's reputation.

My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. When I arrived, there were no other customers in line, yet the server seemed preoccupied with something else. After a confused individual emerged from a group of customers, the server finally took my order for 24 wings, 2 biscuits, and a large slaw. Unfortunately, when I received my takeout after a 20-minute wait, the biscuits were missing. The wings were overcooked and the biscuits were crushed. If I hadn't been in a hurry, I would have returned my order. At least my dogs enjoyed the wings for the next few days.
The drive-through layout at this restaurant is poorly designed. I had to wait for my food, while they circled me and parked, causing a traffic jam. The restaurant is badly constructed overall. When my order was finally ready, it was missing napkins and forks, so I had to ask for them. A panhandler approached me during my visit. The food was tasty, but the location and service left much to be desired.
Worst KFC in city. It was once excellent and I ordered there for years. The last three visits weren't so good. The first they got the order slightly wrong but I could live with it. The second they didn't have what I wanted. The third they got the order totally wrong, I got nothing I ordered and what I did get was pitiful. I can't get them on the phone to discuss it because all I get is a sound like a Fax. It's seriously terrible.
Ordered Uber from these guys. I got sick on their food. Needs a health inspector to run them through the wringer. I got sick from Dominos now KFC. Oy veh. Memphis fast food feels like rolling the dice.
