I had a wonderful birthday dinner in a private room for two, which made it very romantic. The host was genuinely enthusiastic about my celebration. My server was not only attentive but also quite handsome. The restaurant itself was beautiful, both inside and out, with a lovely atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! What User doesn't like about Itta Bena:
The "she crab" soup should not be advertised as such. The term "she crab" suggests that it would contain crab roe, but it did not—far from it. The soup was essentially warm milk with a hint of crumb taste and just a few pieces of crab meat. It was quite disappointing. Thankfully, the friendly waiter took it off the bill. We had a truly unforgettable anniversary dinner, thanks to the enchanting live piano and saxophone duet, the delicious fried crab avocado, the rich she-crab soup, and the legendary short rib dinner. The excellent wine selection and outstanding service from the best server in Memphis completed our experience perfectly!
The service and food were outstanding, and the wine selection was fantastic. The entertainment was also excellent and incredibly enjoyable.
That said, I can't praise Jessica, our server, enough. She truly made our first night in town memorable, offering not only excellent service but also valuable tips on what to do during our stay in Memphis. She's a real treasure! If you plan to visit, make sure to ask for Jessica.

The service was perfect and the food excellent! I will be sure to go back again. We ate several appetizers and sides along with the She crab soup, yummy. And what a treat to be able to just stroll into BB Kings by a private entrance to hear some fabulous music after! It was a treat..
