I have raved to all our friends what a wonderful time we had at the Hu Diner before the Orpheum. The staff was delightful especially our server LaChardenay. The food was excellent and the portions were more than generous. Our only disappointment was that octopus and grits was no longer on the menu. The seasonal cocktails that we tried were very good. I stayed at the hotel on a Sunday night to see the bridge light show, but I was disappointed to find that the bar was “unexpectedly closed.” No one informed my friend and me via call or email, which was frustrating since we were out of town and looking forward to enjoying the atmosphere. As a result, we wasted money on an Uber to the hotel, had to scramble to find another dinner location, and rushed to see the light... View all feedback.

Love the new roof top! Of course the view is the best in Memphis. The small bite menu has great food. We had the tacos and avocado toast. Brinton manned the bar and served us. Great drinks and conversation. Definitely will return!

We had a reservation, sat down, waited for 25+ minutes, and were never greeted or even offered water or the chance to order anything. We left.
