We had been to Iris several times before the renovation. The food is now nothing like what it used to be. “Flatbread” was some cold marscapone on grocery store pita. Entrees didn't impress either. There's a reason why everyone includes this restaurant on their best of Memphis. It's an outstanding meal. I had shrimp and grits with a poached egg and it was delicious. It was a very nice Mother's Day brunch. They might benefit from having one or two more things that could be for the non-meat eating or gluten-free crowd, as my wife had a delicious meal but she had to pull out some of the components due to her aller...
