The service at this restaurant was excellent. The bread board was delicious, the filets were cooked perfectly, and the dessert was scrumptious. Highly recommend!
The environment was the perfect atmosphere. Our waiter was giving a larger group on the opposite side of the room which made his service to us very minimal...Besides that, add this one to your list.
We've eaten here many times and are never disappointed. Ambiance, food, service and drinks are exceptional. Also, they always seem to have tables available on OpenTable. Please don't tell anyone
Capriccio Grill is a must visit restaurant for delicious food in a relaxed setting. I want to start with calling out our server David. He did a superior job managing our table; checking in with us just enough and with impeccable timing. Josh and I startedwith the fried oysters and tbh anything fried served with a cream sauce can’t be beat. The second course was a classiccaprese salad because we love it and we needed to feel like we were at least attempting to be healthy. All of the ingredientswere very fresh and just enough of each complimentary flavor. The grand finale was the dish ‘An Evening with Jack’ and Jackdid more than satisfy. It’s served with steak, pork and shrimp. It was all fabulous but the pork was especially on point. Wepaired it with creamed spinach and risotto. Both sides were top notch. The menu had so many choices it was hard to narrow itdown but we couldn’t have been happier and look forward to coming back!
We both ordered coffee, which was prepared using a French press and left at our table – we really loved that! It was smooth, and we truly appreciated not having to wait for refills. Our waitress was attentive and kept our water glasses full throughout our meal. For our first course, we both chose the "Southerner." While the fried green tomatoes lacked flavor, the deviled eggs were packed with a surprising sweetness. Although we might have chosen better options, it was still enjoyable. For the second course, I ordered the seared salmon, and it was exactly what I craved – delicious with a crispy exterior and a perfectly tender interior. My husband chose the skirt steak and gnocchi; while the steak was flavorful and delicious, the gnocchi fell flat and felt like an unnecessary filler. My husband jokingly declared that I won the ordering round! To wrap up our meal, they presented us with a dessert tower. The cheesecake was wonderful, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the banana walnut cake was. However, the chocolate shooters were a bit disappointing, lacking in flavor. All in all, we had a great experience! We enjoy trying new things and don’t mind paying a bit more for the experience. In my opinion, this meal was worth the splurge, particularly considering the ambiance of the historic Peabody Hotel. Could they possibly lower prices? Perhaps. But thanks to our amazing waitress and the talented kitchen staff, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend checking out this brunch, especially if you’re staying at the Peabody!
