Came in for dinner and was approached by a young male bartender. The atmosphere was very chic and enticing. Unfortunately when he asked if we were having food or drinks and we shared we were interested in ordering dinner he sighed and rolled his eyes as he went to retrieve our menus. Gorgeously designed restaurant in a hip part of downtown Memphis. The deco lighting really sets the vibe in this chic eatery with an eclectic menu. We had the escargot, strip steak and flounder. All were expertly prepared and tasted wonderful. The music was at the perfect level for conversation but still enhanced the atmosphere. Our server, Emily, was awesome. She was very helpful with the menu and super attentive. A definite stop when in Grind City.
We went to this restaurant for dinner twice in a row. We had Emily as our waitress her service was outstanding. The Pear A Day cocktail is easily my favorite cocktail in Memphis. The burger is outstanding, as is the crispy Brie. The restaurant is a dark and moody vibe and the bartenders are great at Freeform cocktails. Highly recommend!!
This is a great place to go and try many dishes by just ordering several small plates. Food was well prepared and well presented. Service was spot on. Good craft cocktails.
Fantastic choice for dinner. For us the French onion soup, filet, cocktails, and opera cake were the highlights. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Atmosphere is modern yet cozy. Would definitely come back.
