It was our privilege to attend the anniversary wine pairing celebration last night. The menu included baked topneck clams, wild striped bass, pan roasted grouper and roasted garlic risotto. Everything was superior and so fresh !!! Enjoyed the wines from LaScolca vineyards and Chiara, who actually attended from the vineyard in Italy. Great company and great food ! Very friendly atmosphere including the owners and staf... View all feedback.
What Mark Lambert doesn't like about Bari Ristorante E Enoteca:
As a previous reviewer noted, this place “pretends to be fancy”. I sat at the bar and looked back into a kitchen that would make an elementary school lunch lady depressed. I asked the bartender for a very small menu change a protein sub and was told down his nose that the Chef didn’t make changes to his menu. Well, he should also probably clean his kitchen. I also heard the other bartender make fun of the way another... View all feedback.
Bari specializes in southern Eastern Italian cuisine aka seafood. I have been here several times. The foods have been a consistent phenomenon! I am not sure if they did something different to their mussels this time But I wasn't a fan! Their expresso martinihas chocolate liqueur and their earl gray old fashion is fantastic! From beginning to end Bari Ristorante e Enoteca feeds your heart and palate. The staff is knowledgeable and helps build your custom dining experience. I crave the calamari, spring salad and carbonara and have enjoyed experiencing new cheeses and Italian wines. See you soon Bari. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
As another reviewer mentioned, this restaurant tries to project an air of sophistication but falls short. I sat at the bar and caught a glimpse of the kitchen, which looked like it would disappoint even an elementary school lunch lady. When I asked the bartender for a minor adjustment to my order, requesting a protein substitute, I was dismissively told that the chef doesn’t accommodate menu changes. Perhaps the chef should also consider tidying up the kitchen. I also overheard one of the bartenders mocking the way a fellow patron pronounced something from their pretentious menu. On a positive note, my drink was enjoyable, the bar area was tidy, and the food was decent—just not at a price that matches its quality.
Located in trendy crosstown district about 10min drive from downtown. Great menu, above average food for price. Carbonara was very good. Worth a visit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
We really enjoyed the service at our table, but we found the other staff to be rude and dismissive towards us. It seemed they were uncomfortable communicating with us because we are deaf. However, the food was fantastic! Thank you! Rating: Food 5, Service 3, Atmosphere 3.
