Another Broken Egg Cafe - Memphis

After running an errand, I decided to give this restaurant a try, and I’m so glad I did. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by how clean the place was. My friend and I were seated promptly, and our waitress, Alicia, was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Our orders arrived quickly. I chose the Cookie Dough Waffle, which came with scrambled eggs, bacon, and a glass of orange juice, while my friend opted for the classic Belgian waffle with sausage, scrambled eggs, and sweet tea. The first bite of my Cookie Dough Waffle evoked delightful memories of childhood sweets, and I couldn’t help but smile. The bacon was perfectly crispy, just how I like it, and the eggs were tasty as well. We also tried the biscuit beignets, which were generously dusted with powdered sugar and served with a delicious rum sauce. Overall, everything was fantastic!

This restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, regardless of the day you choose to visit. Our server was satisfactory, but there was room for improvement in managing his pacing. The shrimp and grits were rather ordinary; the sauce overwhelmed the grits, making it hard to fully enjoy the dish. The garlic bread was quite small—more suited for a child than an adult. On a positive note, my drink—a lovely lemon blueberry concoction—was absolutely delightful. I also really enjoyed the beignets with honey sauce. I would definitely return to try something else, and I would recommend this place; it’s worth checking out.

The food is amazing! Since it can get quite crowded, make sure to join the waitlist so you can get seated quickly.

We arrived only 10 minutes before closing and were quickly seated. The service we received was outstanding.

I truly enjoy the creative menu options at this restaurant, but I would love to see some side salads included in the selections. Everything I tasted was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend making an online reservation, as there can often be a wait!
