Was OpenTable Diner at Alchemy a mag?
The food at this restaurant was outstanding. Although the portions weren't overly large, the presentation and taste were perfect. The deviled eggs with salmon were especially impressive. The drinks were also excellent. All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience. View all feedback.
What Bryan dislikes about Alchemy:
Is suppose to be one of the nicer bars in Memphis. They weren't serving alcohol on a Saturday. They did offer us food. The staff was nice. But we dropped off our baby with a sitter on a weekend to find it closed. View all feedback.

Met up with some work compadres for some drinks and eats. We had a great time and some great drinks. It was not super busy on this evening and the service was great! The food was also pretty good too!! Highly recommend the charcuterie board!!! Notpictured, we also got the shrimp shrimp étouffée and the grilled cheese? both were great!
Came here with friends (December 30) for happy hour and this is a nice little gem. The ambience was great and I?m glad I came! I ordered the House Frites and Mussels as an after work ?dinner? and was able to get a few drinks from the happy hour menu. Iwould definitely recommend the Hound Dog as this drink was delicious! The mussels was cooked perfectly and just the right amountof garlic. They give you a massive amount of fries that?s enough to share with the table. I will definitely come back here totry their other food and drinks!
I stopped in for some cocktails and had the Huling Station Old Fashioned- classic drink but the Old Dominick Bourbon made it special. Next, was the Hound Dog-delicious bourbon, peach, ginger and lemon flavors.
I went to this restaurant with friends on December 30 for happy hour and it is a hidden gem. The atmosphere was fantastic and I was happy to have come! I ordered the House Frites and Mussels for a post-work "dinner" and also got a few drinks from the happy hour menu. I highly recommend trying the Hound Dog cocktail as it was delicious! The mussels were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of garlic. They serve a generous portion of fries that is enough to share with the table. I will definitely return to try more of their food and drinks!
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, particularly because of the quick service. We were fortunate to arrive during happy hour, which allowed us to enjoy half-priced cocktails from 4 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. However, the discounted food didn’t quite meet our expectations. Although the inexpensive appetizers were served promptly, the flavors were not as satisfying as we had hoped. I would suggest trying the beef sliders, but I recommend avoiding the disappointing shrimp tacos. My best advice is to focus on the drinks, as there is a separate menu featuring delicious full-priced items.

We cannot recommend Alchemy enough!! The staff here took such good care of my husband and I. In addition to the stellar food, the bartender/GM, Sage, was making custom drinks for us to pair with each course. It was such a dreamy date night, made perfect by the most attentive service we’ve ever experienced, the most delicious food and the coolest atmosphere! We definitely will be bringing all of friends! In addition to a great meal, this is also a great spot for drinks and dessert!
This place is a true hidden gem in Memphis! I appreciate their attention to detail and the consistency of the food. The egg rolls and sushi are a must-try!
I came here to hang out with my favorite cousin while winding back from a hard day of working remotely while also visiting my home town. The cocktails were stellar, service was amazing (i.e. Will 1st week serving) and food was delicious too.
Nice decor, nice bar, nice people. A little expensive, but the bartender informed me about service industry nights without me asking. Made a monte cassino to am absolute tee. Good glassware, not the Memphis standard of an overcompensated lip on a coupe. Right size for the bev. I didn't see them shake it, but only bc the bar wraps around and I was afforded the luxury(sincerely )of sitting quietly on one side by myself. Lighting a little dim, not my jam, but to each his own. Music was nice and quiet. Just a little expensive.

Had a great time. The food was terrific. The atmosphere was electric. The service was top notch. David, Justin, the manager and Bethenny our server went above and beyond to provide us the best experience. We'll be coming back often. Thanks!!
My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for brunch after church Sunday. Once we were seated, our waitress brought us water and we asked a couple of questions about the menu. When she came back to take our order we asked for straws for our water. Ten to fifteen minutes later, someone brought over crab cake Benedict’s to our table and we informed her that we did not order that. She took it back and then came back a few minutes later and said that there was a mixup in the kitchen and that my wife’s order (Fried chicken Benedict) would be up shortly. Right after she left the table my order (Pan Seared steak and eggs) came out. I ordered my steak medium rare and this steak was either not fresh or it was over cooked. I’m 99% certain that it was just simply not fresh because the beef was a dull red instead of a bright red. I managed to finish my entire meal before anyone ever came back to our table to update us on my wife’s meal. When the young lady, who brought out the first incorrect meal, realized that my wife still had no food she stopped and asked “You still haven’t gotten your food yet.” She then proceeded to go check on it and about 5 minutes later it was out. By this point both of our experiences were ruined. My wife cut into her chicken that was dry and hard and decided that she could not eat it. There was never any apology of any sort for our lack of service we received on our visit nor for the horrible food. We will not return to this restaurant.
The service at the restaurant was excellent. However, the food was average at best. We ordered three small plates (Brussels sprouts, truffle deviled eggs, and crab fondue) and a steak. The Brussels sprouts tasted bland with just a hint of bacon, the truffle eggs were dry, and the crab fondue was more of a dip than a fondue. The steak, despite being advertised with onion glaze, fried onions, and blue cheese butter, came with a thick gravy that resembled a frozen Salisbury steak. The onions were also stale. I enjoyed a whiskey flight, but the specialty cocktail I ordered later varied drastically in taste from the first one. Overall, I was disappointed with the food and drinks. I may consider returning for a cocktail, but I would not rely on the food for a satisfying meal.
We had a fantastic dining experience at Alchemy, largely due to Chelsea's exceptional service. The dishes were beautifully presented, served hot, and absolutely delicious. The wine I picked complemented my meal perfectly. The salad was fresh and flavorful, and the dessert was a delightful treat. This wasn't our first visit to Alchemy, and we will certainly be back in the future.

I was excited to secure a reservation for Mother's Day brunch at this restaurant. The server was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, providing attentive service throughout our meal.
Our group of 18 had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The waitress was friendly and delivered quick service, even with our large party. The drinks were wonderful, and the food was delicious too!

The food was really good. The portions are not large, but the presentation is perfected and the taste. This devil egg with the salmon in it was to die. The drinks were great.
We enjoyed a nice culinary experience with good service from Chelsea. The food was beautifully presented, hot and delicious. The wine I selected was right. The salad was fresh and good. We enjoyed a delicious dessert. We've been to Alchemy before and will definitely return.
The hostess was not very friendly. I had booked on an open table and we wanted low sitting when she brought us into the high environment, I asked her if we could be moved and that I demanded low-seats, she seemed very thoughtful.. After that it was all on hills. Our waiter was wonderful and food was good..
