Superb!!! Great menu, from delicious healthy salads to mouth watering burgers!! There is also catering which I have heard is quite impressive. Staff were great, the facilities are incredible. I have tried the sensory deprivation tanks. I haven't seen a Crossfit box quite like Crossfit Southwharf. Tally Health/Tally Kitchen I love and would like to live there. Ha ha View all feedback.
What Abi B doesn't like about Tally Kitchen:
The receptionist at this restaurant was incredibly rude. The service was average. The receptionist seemed to think she was smarter than she actually was. When I tried to make an appointment over the phone, she gave me a hard time and eventually booked it for a Saturday without specifying the date. When I asked for the date, she got defensive and eventually told me she was joking. Throughout the appointment, she was c... View all feedback.
We decided to order a special Grand Final package for two from Tally Kitchen. They were incredibly accommodating and customized a meal just for us. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious and perfect for a cozy night watching the Grand Final. Thank you Tally Kitchen for making our lockdown evening a bit more special.
I placed my order, paid, and sat down with my group, but my meal never arrived. After waiting for half an hour and seeing everyone else at my table finish their meals, I inquired about my order. They informed me that it was on its way, but it took another 15 minutes before it finally arrived. By that time, we were ready to leave. The service was poor, and I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
My sister treated me to a relaxation therapy session at this health centre. It's so much more than a kitchen. They advertise for you to train, eat and recover here and ... that's exactly what it offers. The location was a bit odd for me...but it also added to the charm. There is street parking out the front. When you enter, you see a funky little eatery and you will see to your right that there is an area to work out... move into the building and you will see they have physiotherapists working here ... and of course then there is the floatation therapy. I had NO idea what to expect here ... no idea what we were even doing here... But the gentleman who served us had a wonderful manner setting me at ease. The flotation therapy has instructions on the wall for use, but he took us through everything... there are showers for before and after with gorgeous products which I purchased after the experience). If you have never tried floatation therapy it's going to be a tad odd...he said I could have turned the light out when I got inside the pod, but... the switch didn't work for me and I tried it a few times. Fortunately I loved the soft lights playing through their colour spectrum... and as it turns out... I was asleep within five minutes of being in the pod. I slept for over half an hour... it is so incredibly relaxing. After the experience they allow you to relax in a lounge area with your choice of tea. I had the warm spicy tea, my sister had the apple. I tried her tea and it was delicious, but I had made no mistake ordering mine... it was everything you want in tea. Oh yes, I bought that to take home too) And the cookie... mmmm. I loved my experience here.. really loved it. I would recommend this to anyone.
Throughout the appointment, she was curt and dismissive, even making my wife start over on paperwork because of a mistake. She then failed to show up for an appointment she scheduled and when I called her out on her behavior, she claimed she was just tired. This type of treatment is not acceptable and I will not be returning. The management needs to address this issue before they lose more customers.
Sunday last as a group of 4 we spent a pleasant hour having lunch at Tally Kitchen in South Melbourne. Don’t be put off the Tally is in front of a gymnasium. The staff are very obliging and food is very well prepared! Certainly worth a visit for a casual lunch!
