When Stagger Lee's first opened, it was brilliant. But for whatever reasons, the food and coffee went down in standard. So we stopped going. But we noticed that things seemed to have changed and went back today. It all looks the same but there is a completely new menu and new staff, at least front of house. The menu was interesting again. We happened across this place 6 years ago and enjoyed it, so decided to seek it out again. It didn't disappoint! Greeted from a very friendly waitress as we entered, who got us seated and went through the specials. We ended up with the avo on toast and the porridge which was a special. Both were fantastic, I just wish I could have fit in all the porridge. The coffee was really good as well. Highly Recommended!

Stagger Lee's is a great place for breakfast in the very hip Fitzroy area. Great coffee, varied menu made for a great experience

I ordered kids burgers and chips. The patty was undercooked, too much tomato sauce, it made the burger soggy. The kid did not finish it. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–40
