Plus Coffee Co offers great value with everything priced under $15. Located just a 5-minute walk from Flinders Street Station, it’s an ideal spot for a quick coffee or sandwich. Among the sandwiches we tried, the Beef and Kimchi stood out with its saucy, well-balanced flavors and perfectly toasted bread—an excellent sandwich for the price. The Reuben, however, was a bit dry. Their drinks impress as well, featuring unique options like tiramisu latte and coconut latte. The fizzy, sweet yuzu tonic paired wonderfully with the coffee. Overall, a great place for lunch with solid food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend the Beef and Kimchi Toastie.

Plus Coffee Co is a calm and inviting spot in the CBD. I tried the strawberry matcha, which was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, with just the right amount of ice, served in a durable cup that’s easy to carry. The brownie came in a paper cup, was soft and tender without being chewy, and had a rich chocolate taste. The staff were friendly and welcoming. UPDATE: I stopped by Plus Coffee Co again today to try their iced passionfruit Americano—such an innovative flavor combination, perfect for a hot day. Definitely recommended! I’ve added a new photo below to show the coffee-to-passionfruit ratio. Always on the lookout for new lunch spots in the CBD, I was happy to finally give Plus Coffee Co a try. The café is charming, and despite being right in the city’s hustle and bustle, it maintains a relaxed atmosphere. With large open windows and limited dine-in seating, it’s a cozy place for a quick bite. Since it was a warm day, I opted for an iced strawberry and matcha drink instead of coffee—one of their special creations. It was very refreshing, not too sweet, and the strawberry and matcha complemented each other surprisingly well. For food, I had the truffle mushroom and cheese toastie, which was delicious. The bread was crispy and perfectly toasted, the mushrooms were flavorful and plentiful, and the cheese was anything but boring—rich and wonderfully stringy, perfect for a toastie. A highlight of my visit was the exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. Even though it was a busy time, just after the lunch rush, they greeted me warmly with smiles and efficiently handled my order. Plus Coffee Co’s menu offers many other great sandwich options, and I’m excited to come back to try the tuna melt, beef kimchi, and possibly the vegetarian choice. I’ll also need to sample their coffee next time. A rare five-star experience! Well done, Plus Coffee Co team. My mushroom truffle cheese toastie was excellent and likely vegetarian-friendly, though not vegan due to the cheese.
