Was Anonym at Gukbab a mag?
Went here for Friday lunch with an office colleague and the food was good and cheap. I had the vegetarian chap jae and shared a baked corn cheese. Definitely give this place a try! View all feedback.

What Pearce D dislikes about Gukbab:
Awful place. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I would. Came here for lunch with two colleagues and ordered the cheese fried chicken. Saw a caterpillar BUG IN SALAD as soon as they put my meal down. I informed the waitress and she took it away to have it replaced. NO APOLOGY or discount offered. Recommended by one of my korean friend . Its Melbourne hidden gem for korean restaurant. Although with hit and misses with the sauces every now and then , overally is more than satisfactory. Definitely a place to have a nice korean meal with family and friends.

What a great find on our first day! Nothing like a hot plate of food on a wet evening - served with a smile! The dimsums were average, however, the food was simply superb, along with somne fantastic Kimchi salad and Korean beer!

Tried the Dae-ji Gukbab (Traditional Pork Soup), Sun-dae Gukbab (Blood Sausage w Sliced Pork) and Sundubu Jigae (Soft Tofu Stew).Dae-ji Gukbab was so delicious and tasted like incredible comfort food. The blood sausage in the Sun-dae Gukbab was not good. Will not re-order this again unless they make better blood sausage. The soft tofu stew was really delicious too! Will have a very hard time deciding between the Dae-ji Gukbab and Sundubu Jigae for my next visit.

We have visited this restaurant twice already, and it is great for larger groups. There is a variety of Korean dishes to choose from, and the food is quite tasty. The steamed pork belly and egg roll are always popular choices among our group, as they are both delicious. The budae jigae could use a bit more flavor/spice, and the seafood pancake could use more filling. However, overall, this is a fantastic place to gather with friends for some good food and drinks.
