Was Anonym at Fourth Chapter a mag?
Had a lovely breakfast here with friends. A nice bright decor, with a small courtyard. The food as pretty as a picture, I had the raspberry granola with vanilla panna cotta and dehydrated watermelon. Portions are generous View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Fourth Chapter:
the sweet potato waffeln ordered, was much too much speck and tied when something. They have 3 tiny waffels, their undergent truffles waffles up the portions especially for what they pay. even though the coffee was good and pleasant, the atmosphere looks up. the first look beautiful, but is not pleasant when they sit. only large white covers with some plants also personal were not great either sad. Very chic little cafe that serves great breakfast and lunch. Nice atmosphere and very pleasant and efficient staff.
This cafe comes across as 'Chic, Groovy, Crazy and Friendly' place that lets you be. Having heard good things about this place, we ended-up here for lunch. Totally loved the vibe of this Vegan friendly place which was unusually crowded on a weekday. Ended up ordering French Toast, Southern Fried Chicken Baos, Big Breaky, Green Tea Latte, English Breakfast Tea and Sisko Hot Chocolate Sphere. Fried Chicken Baos, French Toast, Sisko Hot Chocolate and Green Tea Latte were the dishes of the day for us. Perfectly Crunchy and Juicy fried Chicken topped with a Sweet and Spicy Dressing and stuffed within the Soft Baos were very appealing to eyes and tastebuds. Their take on French Toast was a complete meal in itself. Gamut of Flavors and and Healthy ingredients were totally soothing to the tongue. Sisko Hot Chocolate Sphere and a sphere made of chocolate stuffed with Marshmallow and served with hot chocolate was flavorful. Green Tea Latte in skinny milk was way too better than what we have had in a really long time. Big Breaky was huge but lacked flavors. Toasted bread turned out to be little chewy.....bacons were crisped to perfection though. For the price you pay you are served a big meal which is suffice for moderate eaters like us. Total value for what you pay. Hospitality Top-notch. If you intend to spend a lovely afternoon over food this is the ideal place to be.
Friends had said "worth a visit" to fourth chapter so a few weeks ago we headed off on a Sunday to have a late brunch. We arrived and were told 25 minute wait. Sorry but there are too many good cafes around that I don't wait for anyone. I am not part of the 'young generation' that think it's fine to stand in the street and queue especially in winter, so we left. This week I decided on a non weekend day to pop in for a bite to eat. It was not busy and so was easy to get a table. There were plenty of staff around and they took our coffee order almost straight up. The menu: It was disappointing in my opinion. I expected a much better and interesting menu. We had planned on eating lunch but nothing really appealed. With the coffees ordered we decided to share a snack to get us on our way to our appointment. There were some ladies near us that were eating lamingtons that looked sensational, but when we commented they said that they were dry and disappointing. They didn't believe they were fresh. With all the staff around we found it interesting that it was so difficult to get their attention and ordered the small dish to share. We only ordered paleo banana bread /walnuts pecans dates with raspberry cashew butter. The coffee was nice. Banana bread - how can you go wrong? They had toasted the bread and on top had put cold, what seemed like out of a fridge, fresh banana. Ideally you would have thought that they would have caramelized the banana and warmed it slightly. ($11.00) I looked around and wasn't jealous of other foods being plated up to other guests. In Melbourne with cafes opening every week I won't be returning to try again. Personally I think this is over rated.
This cafe is beautiful! We were impressed by its crisp white front door. The coffee was fantastic and the sandwiches we ordered were deliciously crunchy. The backyard patio, surrounded by vibrant greenery, was stunning and bathed in just the right amount of sunshine. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Prahran! I absolutely love the atmosphere at this restaurant! We were seated outside and even though it was a bit cold, the staff were still very friendly and welcoming. We decided to order five dishes to share among the four of us. Every dish received a perfect rating of five out of five. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, topped with just the right amount of syrup, but the standout was the coconut ice cream. I personally ordered the nourish bowl, which was incredibly filling and had the perfect balance of vegetables and tasty falafels. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning, perhaps to sit indoors next time.
