If you're after a five star environment don't go here. If you want good dumplings at cheap prices this is the place. I've tried a few and all are good. Very extensive menu if you're after something more including traditional Chinese dishes like chicken feet, but enough of the more "westernised" dishes to keep the less adventurous happy. If you're after fast, stay, cheap and in this area in Melbourne here is a place w... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dumpling World:
This place turned me off dumplings for good, the staff were extremely rude. When the food came they pretty much threw it on the table. That's not the worst, the "chef" walked out from the kitchen and lit up a cigarette in the restaurant, that's still not the worst. Although still open at 19:00 hours, the dinner with wontons and dumplings was not very tasty. Also the pasta of the dumplings was thick, but the wonton filling was good.
Not good taste bad so oily . Waste money I dint it my food. No water as well omg not worth at all
Delicious pork dumplings. Exquisite Egg Plant dish and wonderful spring onion pancakes. Naturally, the dishes mentioned are my favorites. Menu has many choices. Very busy during Lunch time. Medium priced. Will be going back.
Good value and just across the road from where we stayed. We ate there twice for lunch. Yummy dimplings and my husband loved the lemon chicken. Approx $40 for the two of us each time. Nice ambiance/decor and attentive staff. I actually loved hearing the kitchen staff yelling out the back haha that's authentic!
Came in to kill off some hunger pains, not very impressed with Staff non welcoming non smiling, ordered Dumplings that were not fresh not sure what was inside them, also had Duck which was tough and chewy. Big let down. They also have the noisy chairs we have ever experienced in a Restaurant, meaning as people got up the heavy wooden chairs scraped across the hard floor.
