This is a strange little place. It's in a former fruit and vegie shop and I thought it had just opened but a review from 2015 shows this don't the case.On arrival the staff aren't very welcoming - no smile or welcome; there's no vibe and not much of a menu. There seemed only to be toasties and banana bread but don't ask for the banana bread as they've run out - how this happened by 11 on a Saturday morning is beyond me - why not just make sure you have enough to last the day?Don't ask for pepper on your toastie either. They'd run out of that too and hadn't nipped just up the road to grab a replacement. The toasties taste good and they have good coffee (only served in a takeaway cup) but the place is not well run (obviously) and not very welcoming. I won't go back and will spend my money somewhere else!as Saturday morning breakfast should be more than an unpeppered toastie and no smile.
Go there at least once a week, consistently excellent. Love the hot chocolates, toasties, and all the snack food. In warmer months, chocolate slushies are a favourite (not served in cold months). Very handy for an after-school-snack if you have students at school opposite. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a tasty treat!
