Common Galaxia - Melbourne
Common Galaxia
Menu
On this website, you will find the complete menu of Common Galaxia from Melbourne. Currently, there are 56 meals and drinks available.
Common Galaxia, created by the same team as the well-known Melbourne cafe Dead Man Espresso, has rapidly become a beloved spot in Seddon. This cozy cafe prioritizes high-quality coffee, sourced from Seven Seeds and Market Lane. However, the food offerings are equally impressive, including a variety of smorrebrod (Scandinavian open sandwiches) and delicious baked egg dishes that have won over the local crowd. With only 40 seats, the quirky and lively atmosphere of Common Galaxia features cutlery baskets suspended from tables and comfortable leather chairs.

Was Aloo at Common Galaxia a mag?
I was pleased to discover that this cafe has expanded its selection of vegan options, which have been carefully curated. The staff are well-informed and incredibly friendly, and the coffee is top-notch as well. Overall, a great experience. View all feedback.
What Angelina Funk dislikes about Common Galaxia:
Quite interesting that this café states that they have “vegan options” when in fact, they only have one breakfast and one lunch option on the menu. When we asked if a meal could be made vegan, we were told it could not. In addition, we...requested mushrooms as part of a meal and were told “sorry but we cook them in butter”. Don’t advertise vegan options if the chefs are not willing to comply with this. Shocking servi... View all feedback.
My motto is simple: 'I want to be in love, drink good coffee, and ride my bike'. As a passionate cyclist and a coffee connoisseur, Common Galaxia is the perfect spot for me when it comes to coffee. Upon entering, the space has a welcoming minimalist design with a hint of industrial influence. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, and I haven't even mentioned the staff and coffee yet! The service is outstanding - the friendly and attentive staff keep the place running smoothly. And now, onto the highlight of the experience: the coffee. Good coffee requires two key elements: quality beans and a skilled barista who knows their craft well. Common Galaxia excels in both of these aspects - they use Seven Seeds coffee beans and the expertise of Frank, the talented barista, creates a coffee that is rich, smooth, and beautifully textured. I give this place a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
I had a great time at brunch! I ordered the salmon and the reuben sandwich, and both were delicious with well-balanced flavors. I was disappointed that I missed out on the Nutella and Ferrero waffles due to a menu change, but I'll definitely try them next time I'm in Melbourne.
Good coffee! Don't always have time to sit down, but the take away meals are great for on the go people. My favourite local spot
