They had a dish labeled "sun Choy nap," but the combination of chicken mince in lettuce didn’t quite match my expectations for that particular dish. However, the sliders were enjoyable, with crispy bacon and a nice touch of gherkin. The fish and chips served in a little box were especially addictive—I may have had three servings! The gnocchi was acceptable, but the salad left something to be desired. On a positive note, there was a delightful assortment of dessert canapés to enjoy.

It's a members-only club, so you must be a member or accompanied by one to gain entry; however, it has a welcoming atmosphere without any pretentiousness. The members' dining room provides a nice setting for an upscale meal, but my top pick is the Carbine Bar, which features comfortable leather seating and slightly pricey snacks. The artwork throughout the space is impressive, along with the classic cars displayed around the building. Additionally, there are some club and hotel facilities available.

There were also duck spring rolls, ravioli, salmon bites, and a selection of desserts like lemon slice and salted caramel profiteroles, all of which were outstanding. Our drinks were plentiful, with a continuous flow of prosecco, beer, and wine. The service was excellent as well. Everything was clearly marked, and we never had to wait long for a drink refill or to grab a bite to eat. Aside from a minor hiccup with the air conditioning being off at the start, it was a wonderful evening. If you’re considering hosting a function in the city, I highly recommend RACV House.
