**Dining Experience at Time Square Diner: A Mixed Bag of Impressions** Time Square Diner has garnered a range of reviews, showcasing both delights and disappointments. Some guests rave about the homemade quality of the food, generous portions, and welcoming staff, particularly praising the enjoyable breakfast offerings and the inviting ambiance enhanced by a lovely mini garden. However, others recount frustrating experiences with slow service, kitchen mishaps, and cleanliness concerns. Price increases have raised eyebrows, especially given its diner-like self-image. While many enjoy the flavors and atmosphere, a few patrons left feeling disheartened by service issues. Overall, it’s a place worth a visit, albeit with some caveats.

Was Rachel Howard at Time Square Diner a mag?
The food was so delicious it tasted homemade! Our server, Rachel was remarkable. I had my 3 year old with me and she was so patient and kind. Loved our experience! View all feedback.

Another incident involved a server who was cleaning the floor when we arrived. She removed the dirty mop pad with her bare hands and then approached our table with our silverware and menus. I politely asked her to wash her hands before serving us. Then, my husband and I ordered the French toast, but it was overloaded with cinnamon and powdered sugar when it arrived. I sent it back, requesting less sugar and no cinnamon. What came back was simply regular toast that hadn't even been dipped in egg. This restaurant has significantly increased its prices since my last review a few years ago. I mentioned then that they refer to themselves as a diner, but they truly operate like a gourmet restaurant.

I have been visiting this restaurant since it first opened and have consistently had a great dining experience. I’m from New York, and in this area, this place is as good as it gets.

I ate there for the first time today. I had a hamburger, fries, and coleslaw. It was good, not great, but definitely better than average, for a central FL restaurant. The fries were excellent, as they serve steak fries instead of the typical Florida beach fries, (that I personally do not care for). They seemed to be understaffed today when I was there but I know in these times that can happen. The service was a bit on the slower side, but its also the south, so there's that too to factor in. The staff was personable, but again seemed like they could have used a few more servers at dinner hour. The place was clean, and it has an open kitchen concept so you can see right into the kitchen when seated.I will go back again and try another menu item. It was good enough to re-patronize again. I would recommend it for another meal.

An impromptu let 's get lunch brought us to Time Square Diner. It was a tough decision what to order the first time. Always a safe bet, if they don 't screw up the burger, the Baja Burger, in this case, well, everything else will likely be great too. Hands down, a great burger. My friend got the chicken avocado sandwich and was super happy, too.We 'll be back!!
