Tequila Accent - Melbourne
Tequila Accent
Description
Tequila Accent blends a warm, clean dining room with bold, well-priced Mexican fare—tacos, birria, sizzling fajitas and memorable dips—plus complimentary chips and spicy salsas. Generous portions, varied menu and standout flavors have made it a local favorite in Brevard for lunch or dinner. Service is uneven, ranging from attentive to slow, and opinions on authenticity vary, but consistent food quality and inviting ambiance make it worth a visit.

Food was amazing got the queso dipped burrito and the 2 for 1 margaritas. The margaritas weren't too tasty but after two you definitely feel a nice buzz so maybe that's y its 2 for 1. Waitress was so freaking sweet and the restaurant is beautiful.
We 've gone to this restaurant before and the food is not incredible but decent. But today (Tuesday at 4:00PM) we went and the service was terrible and the food was really bad. All the waiters on their phones. They didn 't ask what type of tortillas we 'dlike, they were very impatient(we 're usually quick to order), and when we complained they just said, Okay. and walked away. Wespeak in fluent Spanish so communication was not an issue. We had the Acapulco Incredible Burritos and the Al Pastor Tacos andthey were bad. The green sauce was sour(old) the rice was not cooked well, the meat tasted old, they didn 't have any Horchatawhen we asked, and the Al Pastor Tacos barely had any pineapple. We 've had different waiters in the past and they were nice butthese new waiters were not friendly whatsoever and didn 't care. Quite saddening how the quality of service has gone down.
The service was outstanding, and the food was top-notch. However, the quality of the drinks was inconsistent. The first drink was excellent, but the complimentary second drink fell short of expectations.
**Rewritten Review (2 years later):** I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! I ordered the carne asada, while my husband chose the arrachera, which was topped with onions. My dish was exceptionally tender and flavorful, although his was a little tough. That's why I initially rated it 4 stars. The ambiance was great as well!
The restaurant has a serene and inviting ambiance during lunch, and the food is quite decent. However, it falls short of my expectations for authentic Mexican cuisine. The complimentary salsa is unexpectedly tasty, and the shrimp ceviche is enjoyable too. While nothing stands out as exceptional, the overall quality is consistently good.
