I ordered the vegan tofu eggs and added the “eggs” on the recommendation of the server, spinat and paprika. it's too ending that you're smiling! I also ordered the vegan waffel and they had real maple syrup! I was very happy with my breakfast. very tasty.

I went for the lemon poppyseed with fresh blueberries—bright, zesty, and bursting with flavor. My wife’s funfetti pancakes, piled with sprinkles, marshmallows, and chocolate chips, were a playful masterpiece. The thick-cut bacon was crispy perfection, and we couldn’t get enough of the gator bites, fried green tomatoes, and biscuits with gravy—each dish was a Southern delight done right. The map showing where their fresh, local ingredients come from added such a cool vibe to the meal. And of course, we had to make a Mickey mouse-shaped pancake—because what’s a Florida breakfast without one? Everything was top-notch, from the food to the fun atmosphere. I 'm really disappointed in the waitress at the Downtown Melbourne Backwater location that reported to the police suspicious activity between my mom and my sister, who is working on her mental health and actively seeking treatment. I understand that not many people are able to ask questions while the situation they 're experiencing is going on. I understand that the behavior the waitress had witness of my sister was not normal, but my sister and family were already well aware of this. I think that calling the police, gaining my family 's name from the receipt, was a bit of an over step. This decision caused additional stress on my sister, my parents and I, who are just trying to be there for my sister making sure she eats and is taken care of overall. Please, if you see something, ask questions in the moment or if you 're uncomfortable asking, perhaps talk to a coworker. Not everyone responses the same to a family member in distress. I cannot continue supporting Backwater after this incident but, for everyone else I recommend the pulled pork eggs benedict and a lemonade.
