I went to order online and their online ordering was not wor... read more To be honest, it 's hard to say if their food is good, because I was never able to order from them. I went to order online and their online ordering was not working. I called them, and they told me it was only pickup (no delivery). I asked them how long for an order to be ready, and they said 1 hour. I explained I wanted the food ready for dinner time, at 6PM. I verified I should call at 5PM if I wanted to pick up my food at 6 PM. I was told I can not pick up at 6 PM because they would be too busy. I was a bit confused by this.... so I very specifically asked If I want to have food from your restaurant at 6PM, is that possible? . They straight up answered, No, we can not have food ready for you at 6PM, we will be too busy . Mind you, I called them at 2:30 in the afternoon... apparently 3.5 hours notice for pick up was not enough. So much for restaurants having a tough time during Covid. First and last try for me with China Sky.

I really appreciate the pick-up process, and the chicken is quite good. The portion sizes for the combo plate are decent—enough for one large meal or two smaller servings. However, this time, both the white rice and the pork fried rice didn't taste right; they had a strange, dishwater-like flavor. This was disappointing because we love the spicy chicken served with veggies, but after this experience, we won't be returning.

I attempted to order online, but their online system... read more To be honest, it's difficult to assess the quality of their food since I was never able to place an order. I attempted to order online, but their online system was down. When I called, I learned that they only offer pickup, with no delivery options. I asked how long it would take for my order to be ready, and they told me it would be an hour. I explained that I wanted the food ready for dinner at 6 PM and confirmed that I should call at 5 PM for a 6 PM pickup. However, they informed me that picking up at 6 PM was not possible because they would be too busy. I was a bit confused by this, so I specifically asked if I could have my food ready at 6 PM. Their straightforward answer was, "No, we cannot have it ready for you at that time; we will be too busy." I called at 2:30 PM, and apparently, 3.5 hours' notice for pickup was not sufficient. It's disappointing, considering the challenges restaurants have faced during Covid. This was my first and last attempt with China Sky.
