I stopped in for a short meal before work. I sat at the bar and ordered and shrimp risotto. It was excellent, malheureusement the wine was not. The house Pinot from Oregon was awful. I was hoping it would have gotten better after the first sip but it didn’t. There are so many good ones out there. Keep searching, it will make a difference. View all feedback.
What kxzi doesn't like about Avenue MEDFIELD:
The manager Mark W is not good at all, always thinks he is right, rude, and just not a great person to be around. He and others help ruin the pretty good food. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
We enjoyed our experience in the avenue last night. the meals were good (steak frits, Sirloin special, heavy fish) but what really came out was the service. spiro was great! ask him when they visit. also, manager mark came up several times on the table to make sure everything was good. Look at it!
We had a nice dinner with another couple on Thursday 19th May, with Christ as our waiter. we had the mush and the salate of the green goddess. the salat is large enough to share with two people. our friend had the sirloin steak as a revolver who was the special and it was excellent and perfectly cooked. I had the chicken stable that I had before and took half to the house, as it is a great part, and it was excellent. my man had the baby back ribs and that was great too. a friend dies and she had the BLT salad with grilled garnel on it. we all tried a few bites of butterscotch brownie with ice that was phenomenal! chris has made an excellent work to get us drinks, and the hostess and hostess at the front were also very welcoming. we've been here before, but it's been a year. we come back! many thanks for a wonderful meal!
Very nice restaurant in the upscale style. first visit was Mother's Day...big little prix fixe brunch. very friendly, helpful staff. we look forward to the regular menu in 2 weeks for our jubilee.
Consistently excellent eating and service! love the caesar salad and creative flatbreads!
We had an 8pm reservation for date night, were promptly seated, and then ignored for over 30 minutes. We had to ask a busser if we had a server. We asked our server for a wine list and were told that there wasn't a wine list. There was clearly a wine list, in fact we saw many tables around us being served bottles of wine. We finally gave up and asked for glasses of wine and ordered food. The cod was good, the beef bolognese was bad.I'd like to give Avenue the benefit of doubt and assume they were just busy, but I can't get over the fact that the manager was constantly checking on tables around us and never once looked at us or tried tp help us with our situation. At the moment, I an 50/50 on whether they were too busy to help us, or just didn't appreciate our business for some reason. We will not be going back.
