Description

Tutes Bakery is a neighborhood spot known for crowd-pleasing cakes, tres leches, gelatinas, tamales and affordable custom orders—even when booked last-minute. Praises highlight moist, well-priced celebration cakes, but recurring concerns about inconsistent quality, food safety (mold, ants), late or incorrect pickups, and brusque staff temper enthusiasm. Card payments may carry a small minimum fee and English-language communication can be uneven. Good for parties and quick orders, but inspect perishables and confirm pickup details.

The bread has a wonderful flavor, and the cakes are exceptionally delicious as well.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for quite some time and have always enjoyed it. However, after picking up some pastries today, I discovered mold on one of them. Unfortunately, I can't return after this experience. I've also read some reviews that indicate this is a common issue.

I had the worst customer service experience ever and will never return to this restaurant. The staff was extremely unhelpful, and the owner was incredibly rude. Additionally, I noticed ants around the food, and the cake was subpar.

Really good Mexican bread and tamales on weekends, I highly recommend it.

ANTS!!! Crawling all over bread in display. When brought to their attention they admitted it’s a problem they can’t get rid of.. ewww gross flies flying over bread. This is the worse place ever!! used to be my pick when in the area until I discovered they sell you old bread that has been sitting there for days they next day there is mold! The audacity to be expensive; It’s worth the drive to go to another bakery. they NEVER have tamales!
