Reviews summary

In a recent dining experience at Kojak’s, reviews reflected a mix of satisfaction and disappointment. While the restaurant's warm service was frequently praised, consistency in food quality was a common concern. Patrons enjoyed well-seasoned dishes like the cream of chicken soup and lamb kabobs, while others found issues with dry gyros and overcooked burgers. Additionally, the fries received notable criticism, described by many as stale or improperly cooked. Despite some negative feedback, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff encouraged hopes for improved visits in the future, making Kojak’s a location worth considering for casual dining.

Was Monica Mena at Kojak's a mag?

The woman at the front was very kind (unfortunately, I don't remember her name). I came with my husband and two children to dine here. This was our first time eating here, but we will definitely return. The burgers and wings were delicious. View all feedback.

What Colleen Dilone dislikes about Kojak's:

I ordered sweet potato fries but received old fries. The Italian beef was wrapped in such a way that all the cheese was stuck to the wrapper. The half chicken dinner was disappointingly small. When I called the restaurant to complain, the manager didn't seem interested in hearing my concerns and only offered to refund me for the fries. Gyro sandwich was so so. I only 2 small tomato half slices in it. Onions were good. The tzatziki sauce was thick like sour cream, I bought extra sauce and spread it on like sour cream to a potato. I was expecting more and got less. My husbands fries were extremely salty and he threw them out. His beef sandwich was kind of dry, not moist. I tried the bread gravy, it had the gravy on the bread, but it was still dry. Nothing like the menu promised. We might go back to try the hot dogs, but I can’t promise that.

I always get the Burger. It has been cooked anywhere from good (med rare to very over done over the last year or so since they opened, like today. (I always order online and make the med rare choice . I like a little moisture/grease in my burger. I keep getting it overcooked and very dry. I love the fact they offer a cooked preference, now they just need to follow through. AND they REALLY need to change the fries. I eat out constantly and you would have a hard time finding worse fries anywhere. It 's strange, they almost taste 'baked ' not deep fried. Not sure what is going wrong there, the cook/storing method (cooked an hour ago sitting in heat/oven/light? or the fries themselves. Fries are easy, how do you mess that up.

Just over an hour for two grilled cheese kids meals, gyro platter and a Philly steak. I get it to a point however it will never make want to return. Overall disappointing compared to the Cary location. Ownership should review the operation and management staff to keep the business successful.

Nothing like cary location. Service was slow, food barely warm. Had to send Beef sandwich back as it had like an ounce of beef with cold cheese.

Ordered and picked up food at Kojak’s yesterday when company was visiting. We had a variety but over half of us (5) ordered gyro dinners. They were tasty not the best I’ve ever had but good. I’d order again because Kodak’s is only five minutes from home (our favorite is thirty minutes). The amount of meat was okay but not over generous several guests were snacking soon after finishing the gyro dinner. The shrimp basket was beautiful and I’m told shrimp were very tasty. One four-cheese grilled cheese was great looked and smelled delicious. The mushroom Swiss burger was juicy and tasty per the recipient. The garden salad was okay but lacked tomato and onion which was surprising and disappointing. Fried mushrooms were excellent and generous orders. Kojak’s is a good choice and conveniently located. Give them a try.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. I wish I had taken note of the names of the ladies at the front counter because they were incredibly lovely! The food didn't even need any seasoning because it was so delicious. It was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt and flavor. I had the cream of chicken and rice soup and the lamb kabobs for dinner, and both dishes came out piping hot and incredibly tasty! I highly recommend this restaurant and don't miss out on chatting with the hostesses - they are extremely kind and welcoming!

I visited this restaurant because I was craving the BBQ place that used to be there. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I ordered the special shrimp po'boy sandwich and was served a sandwich with shredded lettuce and 4 pieces of fried shrimp. The fries were dry and bland. The atmosphere reminded me of the BBQ place, but the menu was different. Overall, I was disappointed and won't be returning.

I had the gyro melt and the Greek fries. excellent taste and not too overwhelming. the meat was also delicate and moist. in any case a restaurant that I would like to revive with enthusiasm.
