The girl at the counter was incredibly friendly and attentive to my requests. The cupcakes turned out exactly as I had hoped. The frosting was delectable, and the cupcakes were the best I’ve ever had—everyone else thought so too. The chocolate decorations on top of the cupcakes were adorable, and I absolutely loved them. I will definitely be back to this bakery in the future, as I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I give this place five stars; it's truly the best in McHenry!

We also sampled the red velvet cupcakes and were pleasantly surprised that they weren't the typical bright red like most red velvet treats. Kiera Confections opts not to use traditional red dye, which is wonderful since my sister is highly allergic to it. Their baked goods are delicious, and Kim, the owner, is exceptionally kind and approachable. I highly recommend this place!

The red velvet cupcakes look a little different now, but they still taste fantastic! We also love their ice cream and milkshakes. We'll definitely keep coming back, no matter what it does to my waistline!

Their photo book is packed with creative designs, making it tough to pick just one. The prices were fair, and the quality of their work was outstanding.
