I decided to take a late lunch today arrived about 2pm. I walked in and noticed that it really wasn't busy. There was a large party in the back and maybe 2 other customers besides me. Being that it wasn't busy my wait time for my food was extremely long. The waitress seemed uninterested and mostly talked to her coworkers the entire staff was seated talking amongst themselves) . My food was terrible, my wings were under cooked and so were the Buffalo shrimp. On a positive note my beer was cold anddelicious so were the loaded Tots. It wasn't a total bust......

My experience at Hooters was incredibly disappointing. The food was fantastic, which is the only reason I'm giving it two stars. However, I was charged for extra dressing that I didn't request, and I had to wait 10 minutes for a drink refill while the waitress was at another table with my drink. To top it off, I waited an additional 20 minutes for the bill, despite the fact that there were only 15 customers and three waitresses working.

I visited the restaurant today for lunch and was extremely disappointed. There were only about four customers there, and now I understand why. The establishment was quite unappealing. The food was lackluster at best, and who serves nachos like that? There was hardly anything on them, and the chicken was rubbery and diced poorly. I also overheard the bartender expressing her disdain for her coworkers and the place itself, which was quite shocking. The final straw was when I used the restroom before leaving; it reeked of stale urine and was absolutely disgusting. This restaurant desperately needs a thorough cleaning, a new cook, and a complete revamp.

I’m giving this place 2 stars, and the only reason is for the chef. I came in on a whim, excited to treat a great server with a generous tip, but that didn’t happen. I sat for about five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. When the server finally showed up, she didn’t introduce herself, just dropped off the menu. After another five minutes, I placed my order, and my food was great. However, I had to get my own glass for my beer because the server disappeared. I ended up waiting forever, and despite sitting there with my trash piling up and my beer getting warm, nobody checked on me to see if I wanted another drink – which would have increased my bill. There were only six customers in the restaurant, so I don’t understand the lack of attention. I’m available for customer service training if needed, because it was seriously lacking here.

I enjoyed the buffalo shrimp two days in a row—they were cooked perfectly and the sauce was fantastic. The staff was friendly and welcomed me right away. Although service was a bit slow during lunch, it seemed most orders were for takeout, including mine. I’ll definitely return.
