Poor Richard's Public House - WEXFORD

Nice little pub! Good beer selection, great sandwiches, and friendly, fast service. Perfect little stop for lunch or a casual dinner.

Been there a few times, service is at best, okay not real pleasant, and not real fast.

Stopped here for a pint and dinner. Rotating waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The food is good. I like this place.

Came for a visit and the kids wanted to eat at Poor Richard's.....Food was fantastic, service was great!!!! Their buffalo chicken dip is delicious and definitely recommend the Spicy Ruben!!!

I always make it a point to read the negative reviews as they often provide the most accurate portrayal of a place. Unfortunately, in this case, I did not heed the warnings and ended up experiencing the same issues as others. The service was incredibly slow, with locals receiving preferential treatment. When I visited on a Tuesday night around 9:26, the bar was only a third full, yet the bartender seemed overwhelmed. After waiting a significant amount of time for my drink and menu, I was essentially ignored for the rest of my visit. I attempted to get the bartender's attention, but she was preoccupied with another customer, so I ultimately decided to leave. It took a whopping 20 minutes just to order a simple burger at the bar, which was far too long of a wait.
