Was Carly Wright at Squatch Sweets a mag?
Our family has found our new favorite spot for ice cream in McCall! The milkshakes are fantastic! We highly recommend trying the huckleberry flavor and the Notorious Big Foot cone! View all feedback.
What Hayden Hunter dislikes about Squatch Sweets:
The staff was grumpy and very rude. Just trying to get my order and get me out the door. The floor was dirty and the space is so cramped. It was the end of the summer season when we went so they we’re probably just burnt out. The price was also ridiculous!!! Just go to Albertson’s and get some Tillamook Mudslide ice cream. No wonder the line to ice cream alley was so long. Might be better to just go there next time. View all feedback.

The lady’s working at Squatch’s were nice. But when it came to the price per volume of ice cream, Squatch is a RIPOFF. I bought two waffle cones with a single scoop on each cone. When I pay $5.50 for a single scoop of ice cream and $1.00 extra for a cone, I would hope it would be a good healthy scoop. It was not. The scoop was so small it almost fell inside the cone, barely sticking out the top of the cone. I mention how small it was compared to what I paid and her reply was It’s that price because it’s premium ice cream. I wasn’t complaining about the price, I’m complaining about the amount of ice cream you serve for that price. Wrong answer lady
The two girls working were great! Very patient with our kiddos trying to make up their minds. Easy to talk to and were happy to help explain what they had. The ice cream was fantastic!

The staff at Squatch’s were friendly, but I felt the pricing for the ice cream was unreasonable. I ordered two waffle cones with a single scoop on each, and the total came to $5.50 for the scoop and an additional $1.00 for the cone. Given the price, I expected a generous scoop, but it was disappointingly small—so small that it nearly fell into the cone, barely peeking out. When I pointed out how little ice cream I received for the price, the response I got was that it costs that much because it’s premium ice cream. My issue wasn’t with the price itself, but with the portion size for what I paid. Not the right answer, unfortunately.
The sign indicates that the restaurant is open until 6 PM on Thursdays, but when I arrived at 5 PM, the doors were locked and there was no one in sight.
The selection is great, and there's plenty of variety. Each chocolate is truly delicious.

I discovered this ice cream shop while visiting McCall, and I'm so glad I did! The ice cream was delicious, the kids got exactly what they wanted, and I was thrilled to find vegan options available for me.
The staff is really friendly, and I found the ice cream to be quite good. They offer non-dairy options for kids with milk allergies, including strawberry and Oreo flavors. There was also a nice selection of other treats, such as chocolates and candies. I appreciated that they stayed open later than many other shops downtown, and their location next to the beach allows for a lovely stroll by the water after enjoying your cone. I would definitely return!
