Carl's Jr - McAlester

You forgot to give me a reception. Burger was light on spices and the pommes were cold. I usually love Carl Jr's, but this time it was just eh. A plus is that the staff were super friendly!

The food is good, but the building is dated and the staff seems to neglect it. The bathroom was disgusting. My shoes stuck to the floor, the porcelain was yellow from not being cleaned and it was overall nasty. Not the worst place I've been, but without a doubt the worst Carl's Jr./Hardee's. A real disappointment if you do anything other than go to the drive through.

It is a typical Carls Jr/Hardee, except they have the Mexican food department on it. They got the order of my wife wrong, there was a long series of plastic in our pommes, and the onion rings were literally so badly burned that the onions were completely absent from the inside. The place has gone out somehow. One of the tables was completely lacking to let 2 cabin seats face each other and an old beverage machine with very limited choices. When I'm on my way back, I definitely avoid the place.

It's better if you use grids that weren't confused. Could be more generous with tartaric acid sauce on fish sandwiches. You have fast service.

I dont believe the staff has had enough of a chance to be educated through the company, as to how to provide for the customer. Unfortunately in a small town like this, I feel most people need any job, which means drive tends to vary. It seemed like everyone needed a nap and reason to work. My meal was fine but in general, Carl's JR could do with gluten free buns vs the sad lettuce wrap that just becomes a stick to the paper mess. Again, I don't blame the workers. I also feel as though the cleanliness and upkeep could have been better maintained here. In all, I'm not surprised for a small town, I just hope for more.
