Always a courteous staff and the food tastes like I expect every time !One of the first authentic Mexican food restaurant to come to McAlester. All of the Mexican places in town are pretty good, I have favorite dishes at them all. But this is my favorite. The cheese/queso dip here is amazing. View all feedback.
What Janessa Nader doesn't like about El Charro Mexican:
The staff was friendly, the chips and salsa was “okay”. The beef meat on every item tasted the same. The taco meat, burrito meat, toastada meat, and the enchilada meat ALL tasted the same. Just some things had lettuce and tomato and some didn’t. So don’t expect variety of spices and flavors. View all feedback.
Driving through McAlester and found this place. Omg the food is sooo good. I got so much for I believe 16$ I couldn't finish my meat. I had to take it to go. Lol
The food was really good. I'm guessing they were short-handed. My glass was dirty but they corrected it without any problems. Friendly.
Love El Charro! The food is bomb and it's always great! By far best in town.
One of the best eating places we have been on our three hours of road trip today. We will eat there every time we go thru Mcalister ok.
