The burritos at this restaurant were delicious. The staff were helpful in explaining which menu items were vegan or could be made vegan. We ordered the Gringos burritos without the sour cream and rice (replaced with chicken), plus poblanos. They were excellent! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gringo's:
We stopped in on our way home, wanting something different than all the fast food on the way from MO to TX. We ordered the steak burrito, a steak taco, chips and salsa, and a side of rice. The (huge burrito and taco were FANTASTIC. I liked the chips, and the salsa flavor was good, but was a bit too hot for me (I'm usually the one in our party who doesn't mind a little heat at all). Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. The service is top-notch, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We ordered takeout for lunch and were very impressed with the quality of the food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also excellent. Overall, we give this place a perfect score of 5 for both food and service. We highly recommend dining here.
Do not let the construction zone appearance fool you! Despite the current look, the tacos at this restaurant are worth it. They use homemade tortillas, fresh cooked meat that is super flavorful - everything you could ask for. Roz, the owner, is very friendly and enthusiastic about sharing his food with you. Be sure to check it out! Dietary restrictions: Tacos are dairy-free as no butter is used. Service: Dine in.
WARNING—WARNING BE ADVISED!!!! If you order the queso blanco (comes with chips), beans, and salsa, there’s a high likelihood that you will find yourself coming back to order more. Especially if you enjoy Tex Mex and are open to trying different variations of food, even if it's not completely authentic Mexican cuisine.
