There were about 15 customers present, and only one server/bartender, but considering the circumstances, we felt the service was pretty good. Our server arrived at our table fairly quickly after we were seated, and our food came out in no time. My only complaint about the service was that our appetizer was served alongside our main courses, which somewhat undermines the idea of ordering an appetizer. In terms of price, the food was very reasonably priced, especially for dine-in options of this quality. The atmosphere had a dive bar vibe, with few windows, but it turned out to be nicer inside than we anticipated given the somewhat shabby exterior. Despite being in an older building, the place was very clean and had been remodeled to give it a more modern feel. However, I did notice some cheap and dated-looking chairs and stools, with some backrests having rips and a few tables that wobbled. Additionally, there was a faint musty, smoky odor when we entered. I quickly got used to it, so it wasn’t too bothersome, but it was noticeable at first. The establishment also featured several gambling machines and a pool table in the back, adding to the dive bar ambiance but could be a draw for those interested in those activities. There's plenty of street parking available outside. I would rate the food a perfect 5/5 and would certainly recommend this spot for delicious burgers, bar food, and affordable drinks. I gave the overall experience a 4/5 mainly due to the worn chairs and stools, the wobbly tables, the slightly musty/smoky smell, the dim interior, and the timing of our appetizer being served with the mains, which slightly detracted from the overall vibe. It's definitely a great place to stop for lunch along the Panhandle Trail.
I wasn't impressed with the food. I ordered a dozen wings in two different flavors. I tried three of each, took three of each home, and ended up throwing them away.
This place is perfect in any season. We started with an appetizer that was more than generous in portion size, followed by steak and chicken salads that were surprisingly large and satisfying. Everything on the menu looked enticing, and even the fries—despite my usual avoidance—looked and tasted like something from a high-end burger joint. Don't miss out on this spot; stop by and let your taste buds be the judge. You won’t regret it! Plus, the ranch dressing is homemade. You really can’t beat that!
I dropped by to visit a friend and found everyone to be very welcoming. My friend treated me to a drink, and I hope to come back soon!
CAUTION: Avoid this establishment! There are alarming reports of collusion between the local police, the bar, and a motorcycle club (Wardawgs). People have experienced violence, assaults, and robbery here. The staff will serve you alcohol until you’re incapacitated, then provoke you into conflict, physically assault you, and call the police with fabricated stories. Watch out for their bartenders—they are deceitful and closely connected with local law enforcement. Prioritize your safety and stay away from this place!
