This is my favorite spot to enjoy the best pizza. Oh, I absolutely love it!

I visited Casey's on Paris Road on June 20, 2022, at 11:30 PM to use the restroom. At that time, there were at least three cars parked in front of the store, and all the lights inside were still on. I was using the restroom until midnight while on the phone. At midnight, someone entered and informed me that I had to leave because the store closed at 11 PM. I asked why the doors were unlocked, and I was told they were just taking out the trash. I requested a few more minutes, but about three minutes later, the same person returned, this time more rudely insisting that I leave immediately. When I opened the stall door, I saw he was a police officer. Upon exiting the bathroom, I encountered two more officers who escorted me out of the store, where I noticed four or five police cars in the parking lot. I was never warned before they called the police. Where I work, we communicate with all employees to check if any customers are still in the store when closing, and if there are, we assist them with their shopping and checkout. If a coworker steps out, we ensure the doors are locked behind them. We don’t escalate the situation to police for customers who are still in the store after closing hours. I feel it was unfair to have the police called on me for a situation that wasn't my fault, especially since the doors should have been locked.
This was the best service I have ever received at a gas station. Friendly clean.
