same boring food for 10 years. if your not a fish person this place definitely isn't for you. quality of food has always been questionable. even with the free buffet coupons I still will not go. your better off going to Embers for food View all feedback.
Good service, definitely recommend eating dinner, have not have time to try lunch but breakfast is good but food was very limited, lots of empty dishes but all in all it was an OK experience.

Drove out to the casino from Topeka for the buffet and it was fairly a fairly disappointing experience. I hadn't been out there in a while and while there is no smoking in the dining room, the place reeks of cigarettes. For a non smoker, that curdles your appetite. The price is a bit high for the lack of choices you get compared to most buffets. Some buffets make up for being smaller by having superior food... this isn't one of those buffets. There were no cooked green vegetables... just salad. The remainder of their vegetable choices were carrots and 6 different ways of potatoes. They had a prime rib carving station, but nobody was carving, it was all pre-sliced and discolored from sitting under the heat lamp. The salad fixings at leased looked fresh. And there were a number of appetizing looking desserts. The peel-n-eat shrimp was good as was the oysters. Definitely fresh. Their cocktail sauce was not overly spicy to discourage seconds (and third and fourths). Despite the poor quality of the food itself and the lack of choices, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We may come back to the steakhouse, but I doubt I'll eat at the buffet ever again unless there is major improvement.
The odds of us returning to this buffet are slim to none. We went to the Sunday buffet. Selection were limited and not the best quality. Hot food was cold, and cold food was warm. Many slots for dishes were empty. Worst of all, you have to walk through the haze of a smoke-filled casino. Anyone with a compromised respiratory system (asthma, COPD, etc. should avoid!!! The stank of cigarette smoke fills the building and permeates the food. All in all, it was a terrible experience.
We would rather eat here than anywhere in the Casino. Foods okay at best the same old thing most of the time. I do really like the dessert bar.
