Taqueria Simon
Description
Nestled in a neighborhood strip, this family-run taqueria serves homemade tortillas, standout salsas and hefty, flavorful burritos and chimichangas. Taco Tuesdays draw crowds with $1 tacos; regulars praise quick, knowledgeable staff and generous portions. The kitchen’s authenticity and warm hospitality make it a go-to for casual, budget-minded diners. Caveats: reviewers report inconsistent cleanliness and a billing discrepancy, so check menu prices at checkout. Overall—big flavors in a no-frills, homey setting.

It is a very nice, clean restaurant. I belive it is family owned, anyways the food delicious. Home made tortillas. AkA they make them there.. first time I visit this place and can honestly say I will definitely be coming back..
On Tuesdays, the tacos here are $1, for the most part. For a list of tacos please see the pictures above. The tacos come with limes and an optional cilantro and onions. The tacos are only single-layer, however, who cares for the price point.Pictured here you can see two carnitas, two chorizo, and two pastor tacos. They have two hot sauces, orange and green. The green one is the hotter one. Like 1/4 of a habanero vs. 1/3 of a habanero. Lots of good flavors and these lads are quick for getting the plates out
They charged me way more than the price on the menu. I discovered this after I had ordered and went to pay. An advertised $9 fajitas plate was magically $12 at the time to pay. That is a 1 third increase in price 33%!! Not acceptable and I question the legality of such a move. Also the place is filthy.
Their suadero and cabeza tacos are so good. The salsas are so good. Barbacoa on the weekends is delicious.
Came here today for the first time and ordered a lot of food. The five stars is just for Daniel himself. Daniel was very knowledgeable and helped me order. I will definitely come back here just for the hospitality. I’m sure the food is great as well. Can’t go wrong with homemade Mexican food. Thank you Daniel
