Wonderful location, this was an old cloistered monastery dated 1735!Now is a very nice restaurant. To be improved the service but not that much. Food is almost state of the art with a variety of local choices, such as fava beans purée with herbs and cialledda, that is typical of Matera and is basically a warm soup with bred, here is served as cold bred salad so I will not give 5 stars because is not done as it is sup... We had dinner with relatives and friends and we weren't too impressed; the location is beautiful, located on the main square but the food is average, there is better in Matera.
