Friendly, family-run Asian Fun is a clean, spacious pick for takeout and casual dining in Matawan, praised for quick service, generous portions, reasonable prices and fresh, lightly-oiled dishes (try the garlic broccoli). What truly sets this place apart for me is the friendly and welcoming staff. I've ordered several times and have been pleasantly surprised to be informed that I could get free egg rolls or dumplings because my order met a certain minimum. If they hadn’t told me, I wouldn’t have even known! On multiple occasions, I’ve also received complimentary almond cookies—just as a thank-you for being a customer. Overall, this restaurant offers the best food and the friendliest service!

I relocated to the area about a year ago, and I place an order every few weeks. I’ve never been disappointed. The food is delicious, the service is quick, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Our favorite restaurant! The service here is outstanding. They mistakenly brought us the wrong order but noticed it right away and insisted on coming back to deliver the correct one. They called us as soon as they realized the mistake, even before we noticed! Thank you for consistently providing excellent food and service.

Ordered from Asian Fun today. Disappointed. I ordered online. They seemed to be overwhelmed. They were way behind on their orders. First let me say one of the meals I ordered was a shrimp dish with snow peas, mushrooms and broccoli with jumbo shrimp. What we got was pineapple chicken. The chicken was not edible. It was so hard, like it was cooked many times. The shrimp Chow mein was cabbage, celery and a few tiny shrimp. At least they weren't rubber. My son ordered General TSO tofu and cold sesame noodles. The tofo got a thumbs up but not the cold noodles. There wasn't even any sesame in them. So not even going to give them a second chance. This was on a Monday. I can't imagine how they could possibly manage on a weekend night. And if you do go there make sure you check your order before you leave.
