The server... read more The food was terrible and the service was even worse. My girlfriend and I waited nearly an hour for our food, and the restaurant was not busy at all. The server had a terrible attitude and rarely came to our table. I will not be returning to this pub.

It felt like a classic small town bar!... read more I had a great time at this restaurant - the atmosphere was fun, the staff was attentive, and the customers were friendly. It felt like a classic small town bar! After cycling to Tow Hill and back, I enjoyed a delicious cheeseburger with fries and gravy. It was the best cheeseburger on the island, and I've tried them all. Keep up the good work, guys! I'll definitely be returning.

Unfortunately, the lunch service was extremely slow, with over 25 minutes passing before a server came to our table with menus. Despite there being only 2 other occupied tables, it took another 20 minutes for us to place our order after having to approach the server ourselves. When our food arrived, the burgers and fries were served in a reasonable time, but the quality was not as advertised. The burgers appeared to be frozen patties from a grocery store and the fries seemed to be from a frozen bag. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience.

Staff hides in the back to try to avoid serving customers...from the elderly lady with white hair, to the gangly fella with the pony tail, even the little phillipino waitress tries to hide as much as possible. You would be lucky to get served at all. Further, they don't keep consistent hours, opening and closing when they feel like it. Further, judging by the state of the washrooms and their laundromat, I would hate to see what the kitchen looks like.

French fries tasted like fish probably deep fried together yuck! Staff were super nice. Farmers Market type activity across the street when we were there so nice to check that out. Did our shopping at the coffee shop kitty corner to this restaurant and in Old Masset.
