I had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was incredibly disappointing, and Katie at the bar was particularly unkind. It’s shocking to me that someone with such an attitude is working in this industry. She looked me up and down and even suggested I should eat a cheeseburger. To make matters worse, while we were still finishing our dinner, she informed us that they were trying to close and took our food away, even though it was only 8:30 PM and the restaurant doesn’t close until 9 PM. I urge you not to waste your money here. The level of unprofessionalism is astounding. Dining out shouldn’t mean being treated poorly at the bar, and Katie’s demeanor is not suitable for this line of work. Please consider avoiding this place!

The evening began with the bar staff doing their side work at 7 PM while trying to rush us out before we had even settled in. I was literally asked if I was finished mid-bite so they could clear my plate. After barely having time to enjoy our meals, I requested a dessert menu, only to be met with an eye roll. This was just the beginning of my disappointing experience. Katie, the bartender, seemed more interested in flirting with a guy at the bar than attending to her customers. When we tried to get her attention, she responded with, “Is there something on my shirt?” When we said no, she asked if there was something on his, making it clear that her focus was elsewhere. She spent much of the night talking to herself and making multiple trips to the storage room, and when she wasn’t doing that, she was busy chatting with Rebecca, another bartender who proved to be just as unhelpful. To top it all off, at the end of the night, Rebecca took our unfinished dessert away and told us to leave at 9:03 PM because they were closing, even though there were still many paying customers at tables and the bar. I have never felt so regretful about spending $200 at a restaurant. As a local, I will make sure to warn everyone that if they want a taste of middle school cafeteria nostalgia, Estia is the place to go! I truly feel embarrassed for the owners of this establishment.

Went to Estia Mashpee for my wife’s 75 Birthday. Service was good. Food was okay, except for my wife. She ordered the Lamb Chops $54.00 for two chops. The first one she ate was just fair and the second one was uneatable. It was all fat and grizzle. We spoke to the waitress and she advised she would tell the Chef. A few minutes later the waitress returned and she said the Chef said he had served several orders and none complained. So does that make my wife a liar. Pretty lame excuse for a $54.00 meal. Totally unacceptable for a supposedly high class restaurants. I know I will never return and when anyone asks me about it, it won’t be very complimentary. Fred Roberts 9 Grey Hawk Dr Mashpee MA
