Love picnic box. Great homemade food and great staff
The employees are really good people who like to get to know their customers. Been going there for a very long time. Didnt get the chance to go much in 2020 and when I did last week I was saddened to hear of the head cooks passing. The other cook and the head waitress told me all about it . I'll miss him, he was great at cooking and talking with people. The food here has always been great and always will be . I still stop every chance I get if I'm going by that way.. Their breakfast sandwiches are great..
Came in on Sunday morning, 2 of us. Saw the rude review, we stood there for minutes, 6 women working in close quarters. Not one looked at us, said hello, we will be right with you. Just ignored us. They had one table open, nobody waiting. Was told we couldn 't have the table because it was for 4 people . But we could go outside to 1 of 5 large picnic tables, big enough for 6. It was humid and nasty out. We can 't sit at a table for 4 inside, but can at one for 4-6 outside? When asked, they just doubled down on rudeness, we could sit outside or leave , so we left. We have eaten there before. Food is very good. But they have a nasty attitude there and we won 't ever go there again. Oh, and the next customers to come in while we waited, was a party of 2.
Food was good. Waitress got the orders a little wrong, fried eggs not scrambled. Home fries good and fresh.
The silverware and plates had a film over them very dirty unsanitary place waitress was unattentive didn't even bother to bring back my order as I asked. Play smells like a bunch of dirty wet mops and coffee I lost my appetite yucky I would never recommend this place
