The oysters tasted like they were harvested that afternoon. My wife and I split a 24 ounce ribeye that melted in our mouths. The sides (corn risotto, hash browns and grilled Parmesan asparagus) were more than enough for four people. Our waiter (Jeff) was attentive and extremely knowledgeable. We never felt rushed and the manager even came over to us to thank us for coming in. It is no secret that the steak items are a bit pricey (not compared to Boston steak houses but to local eateries). However the quality of the beef is top notch. Try 53 Chophouse for a special event. You’ll be amazed!

Was also disappointed with the crème brulee as the top tasted burnt. Lastly the Hot and dirty martini was advertised with blue cheese stuffed olives and it came with regular olives. I’m not one to complain but for the prices they charge…. if it’s on your cocktail menu recipe make sure it hits the mark!

The presentation is top... read more Comfortable Atmosphere and Killer Food. The 32 oz Porterhouse for Two is carved table side, after a compound butter is torched over it! The presentation is top notch. The Sweet Corn Risotto is fire, and easily worth twice what they are charging. We tried several sauces and compound butters as well that were all excellent. Highly recommended you make a reservation ASAP
