Of course I wanted to go again for dinner, but this time the server was short with us, both plates bland, the portions were too small. Avoid for lunch and dinner but breakfast are totally worth the trip.

We were blown away by the quality o... read more The Castaway has a new executive Chef -Cy and he has created some wonderful menu items. We dined there on a Tuesday evening. We were blown away by the quality of his creations. The Mahi Mahi encrusted with macadamia was superb. He suggested the cheesecake and we were not disappointed. We will be back again soon.

I enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich and my husband had a cheeseburger. We were able to see a beautiful sunset. When we arrived, we stopped at the Maui Kaanapali Villas front desk and got a free parking pass and walked over. They do not take reservations.

I always appreciated the friendly staff and their delicious sandwiches. It's rare to find that kind of warmth from the people behind the counter.
