Elise - Mascouche
Elise
Description
This unpretentious spot serves classic fried chicken and fish-and-chips with a split reputation: when fried to order, the chicken is moist and the fish a highlight, and friendly, down-home service keeps locals coming. However, inconsistent execution has left many diners with overcooked, dry chicken, old-tasting oil, bland seasoning and poorly seasoned sides, making portions feel pricey. Worth a visit for comfort-food seekers, but temper expectations about consistency and value.

Their chicken is succulent even no need to dip in the sauce it already has the taste you need to lick your fingers. It's good that there is only one restaurant... but hey at least it's close to home. ???
First experience at this restaurant and unfortunately the last. The chicken is overcooked and therefore dry. You don't feel any flavor or even seasoning on this one. Also, there was no breadcrumbs or buttermilk in the mix. Only the skin of the chicken… We feel that the oil used is old and worn. The fries are badly seasoned and the coleslaw is more like an onion salad. The formula needs to be reworked.
Nice pieces of fish and tasty too. Price is reasonable and great service. Now i need to go back for more
