My experience at the NewMarket Hotel was fantastic. The octopus salad I had was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and freshness. The service good with staff ensuring that every need was met promptly and courteously. The noise level was just right, allowing for enjoyable conversation without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and I can't wait to return to try more of their wo... View all feedback.
What Giordano Bernardi doesn't like about Newmarket Hotel:
I ordered the risotto with truffles, oyster mushrooms and leek from the specials menu for $28. It tasted like gruel. Out of a group of ten people not one person on our table had a particularly great food experience....although most fared better than I. Atmosphere was strange. Surprisingly busy considering the terrible food. Some sort of sports game was being projected on every available wall. Won't go back. View all feedback.
This hotel is one of the worst I have here. the service was slow. eating was very average. at the time it was kovid that they have laughed completely about every suggestion that they do the wrong. the dining room is very close to a toilet and not so clean outdoor area. I even saw cockroaches coming from outside into the inside. the manager seems to have a gott complex. be away or the autobahn setting. I would recommend to any of the other local pubs in the environment before I get the newmarket at mascot!!!
Wings were great with the blue cheese dip. pizza was a bit salty and the French wobbly soup was extra salty. the pizza kitchen remains open until late, which is a bonus.
The newmarket is very popular at midday, without doubt because of the great and attractive astroturfed beer garden, where they are planes from the third country bank directly above head, as well as the good $15 weekday lunch menu. the pizzas are traditional and very tasty. outside the lunch special, the pizzas are still worth the price, although the rest of the menu is quite standard pub food that seems a bit expensive outside the lunch.
Eating looks just, but don't let that fool her because it's still worth it. there are so many asspects so that this pub and outdoor beer garden is great or there is also an in-bistro if they want something completely and even more formal.
My office is 4 minutes walk from there, so I go there quite a lot. The $15 lunch deals are the perfect pub meal. I've had the steaks and I have to say the pizza is perfectly Italian which their wood-fire oven and the Italian crew making them. One of my staff members had never had Italian pizza, I took him there and he loved it. Happy to have a great pub around the corner.
